- 25 Jun 2026 (Thu): End of review process.
- 30 Jun 2026 (Tue): Notification of acceptance for participant papers.
- 06 Jul 2026 (Mon): Camera-ready submission of participant papers.
- 10 Jul 2026 (Fri): CLEF conference regular registration ends.
- 21–25 Jul 2026: CLEF Working Notes preview — authors and organizers check for errors before final publication.
- 31 Aug 2026 (Mon): CLEF conference late registration ends.
- 21 Sep 2026 (Mon): CLEF 2026 Conference.

- 28 May 2026 (Thu): Submission of participant working notes papers.
- 28 May 2026 (Thu): Short system description to be sent to organizers.
- 13 May 2026 (Wed): Publication of results and release of test data.
- 07 May 2026 (Thu): Participant system response submission deadline (AoE).
- 05 May 2026 (Tue): Test data release (AoE). Official testset: this link.
- 23 Apr 2026 (Thu): Lab registration closes.
- 19 Feb 2026 (Thu): HIPLE-CLEF 2026 task will be introduced also at European Conference for Information Retrieval (ECIR). The preprint of the proceedings paper is now available!
- 21 Jan 2026 (Wed): Release of final training data. Please find the extended data here. 932 annotated relations in 34 Historical German articles; 614 annotated relations in 35 Historical English articles; 956 annotated relations in 35 Historical French articles.
- 01 Jan 2026 (Mon): We release additional data called sandbox with “silver” quality data. This is a larger amount of high-quality automatic LLM-based annotations for proto-typing, training, or any other purposes.
- 19 Dec 2025 (Fri): Additional release of training example data, Release of submission format checker and evaluation scorer.
- 03 Dec 2025 (Wed): First release of training example data. Release of Participation Guidelines.
- 17 Nov 2025 (Mon): Lab registration opens.

Working Notes Instructions
We follow the instructions of CLEF 2026: Participants are expected to submit a short system description paper. Templates are available on this link. More information on the easychair submission platform and peer review mode will follow shortly.
